All water photographers, at one time or another, will tell you that from time to time that they mess up. Either with setting, focus point, or simply that they had the camera angled incorrectly. When I was in the water last, my night was full of them...My focus point and settings were off, and I had a shot or two that would have been really nice, but just positioned myself incorrectly...
Most photogs keep their mistake hidden off websites and blogs, but since this is a journey and learning experience for me, I thought I would share it..
I would have loved this shot if I had my focus point correct!
I didn't mind this shot, but the color and focus is a little off
This was the shot that annoyed me the most. If I would have tilted my camera up just 2 more inches, this would have been a great shot, and probably in my portfolio.
You can see some of the shots that I think actually looked good at http://surfingeye.com/emptywave
