Sunset coloring
While most of my recent sessions have been devoted to shooting primarily with my flash from the water….I still do love shooting without it…
For one thing, my housing becomes like 5 lbs lighter. The other thing is when you get the good sunset at the right time, the coloring can be amazing… Here are few shots from a couple weeks back at sunset.
Gear used:
Canon 7D body, Canon 8-15 f/4 L fisheye lens, SPL A-Series waterhousing. No Swim fins
A thick foamy wave to start off the shoot..

Some waves had better coloring than others...

It is shots like these that make me want to shoot with a 50mm more...
I don't do it nearly enough, but shooting the wave horizontally looks cool sometimes..

Got to watch out for big piles of seaweed at this beach...
If this wave was a little cleaner...this shot would have been epic...
A few to many water spots...but I really liked the coloring and the crystal look of the curtain on this one...
After this waver, I got out and threw my flash on and got back in the water...Check back tomorrow for those shots.... My favorites from this night have been placed in the "Featured" section of my site...check them out...
