Great Northwest
Recently my family and I took a nice little (and much needed) vacation to the great northwest of the US. Specifically to Portland Or, and Seattle Wa.
We made a few stops along the way and did a lot of touristy type stuff, but it was a lot of fun and it was actually the first time my son was on both a plane and a boat. Here are some of the shots that I took on this trip..

A little 30 min drive outside of Portland and you will find Multnomah Falls. Worth the drive..
It might look the same, but the one on the left, high shutter, the one on the right a lower shutter to create the blur of the falls..

On our way to Seattle, we decided to swing by Mount St. Helens. Only problem is it was completely fogged in and couldn't see anything...
One of the visitors centers on the way back to the freeway had some really cool looking hiking trails..

Probably the 2nd most touristy thing we did....I will get to the first..
Our first day in Seattle, the family decided to take a little boat ride around the harbor...It offered some nice views..

Inside Pikes Place Framers market
One of the most touristy things....The first Starbucks. And what do you know..they actually make good tasting coffee in this one..

The number 1 most touristy thing we did... We actually found this by mistake after my wife's Apple Maps got us lost...

Right next to the Space Needle is the Pacific Science Center. We spent our last day here, and it was by far the most fun my son had on the trip...
The customers are long gone but the place is still really cool...
